Description:
Sanco Electromechanical LLC (MEP Division) is currently looking to hire a skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join their team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MEP contracting along with hands-on experience in project-based accounting and financial management.
This role requires someone who can effectively handle multiple projects, ensure accurate financial reporting, and contribute to the company’s financial efficiency through proper cost control and budgeting practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage project-based accounting activities, including costing and financial tracking
• Prepare and monitor project budgets while ensuring effective cost control measures
• Handle subcontractor payments, reconciliations, and financial coordination
• Perform month-end closing procedures and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Maintain accurate financial records and support reporting requirements
• Utilize accounting software (Tally) and advanced Excel tools for financial analysis and reporting
• Coordinate across multiple projects while maintaining deadlines and accuracy
Requirements:
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience within the MEP contracting industry (mandatory)
• Strong hands-on expertise in project accounting and cost management
• Proven experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial reconciliation processes
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and month-end closing procedures
• Proficiency in Tally and advanced Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication skills in English and Hindi (mandatory)
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple responsibilities efficiently
