We are currently hiring a detail-oriented and organized Scheduling Specialist (Remote) to manage clinician scheduling for assigned hospital facilities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring proper staffing, accurate scheduling, and smooth coordination between clinicians, medical leadership, and administrative teams.

The Scheduling Specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate schedules, managing shift coverage, tracking clinician hours, and supporting payroll processing while ensuring compliance with internal policies and healthcare standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and distribute clinician schedules based on hospital workload requirements
• Ensure schedules are accurate, updated, and published on time using scheduling software
• Communicate with clinicians via phone, email, and messaging to manage scheduling needs, call-offs, and urgent coverage requirements
• Coordinate scheduling requirements for Medical Directors, orientation programs, and new provider onboarding
• Verify clinician credentials and ensure eligibility for assigned facilities
• Track clinician working hours and support payroll processing with accurate data
• Prepare scheduling and staffing reports including “Have vs. Needs” updates for recruitment teams
• Monitor staffing performance metrics and assist leadership with operational reporting
• Collaborate closely with credentialing, recruitment, and enrollment teams
• Provide flexible support to leadership and hospital facilities as required
• Perform additional administrative and operational duties as assigned

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1–3 years of experience in scheduling, healthcare operations, or administrative roles
• Experience in physician or advanced practice provider scheduling preferred
• Strong proficiency in scheduling systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Strong organizational and coordination skills

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field
• Prior experience in surgical, clinical, or patient scheduling environments
