Description:
A company operating within the construction and civil works sector in the UAE is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to join its project team on a short-term contractual basis. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with strong site safety management experience and a solid understanding of UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations within construction environments.
The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring workplace safety compliance across project sites while supporting the implementation of HSE policies, risk management procedures, and safety standards. The role requires a proactive individual who can independently oversee site safety operations and maintain a safe working environment for all personnel involved in the project.
Candidates with hands-on experience in civil works and construction safety monitoring, along with strong reporting and communication skills, are encouraged to apply. Immediate joiners with valid own-sponsored visas will be highly preferred for this assignment.
Position Details:
• Contract Duration: 3 Months
• Salary Package: AED 6,000 – AED 6,500 (All-Inclusive)
• Work Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and monitor site safety procedures and HSE policies across project locations
• Conduct routine site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments
• Ensure compliance with UAE safety regulations and project-specific HSE requirements
• Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective and preventive safety measures
• Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and awareness sessions for site personnel
• Maintain accurate safety documentation, records, and incident reports
• Monitor worker activities and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Coordinate with project teams and supervisors to maintain a safe work environment
• Report safety concerns, incidents, and compliance issues to management promptly
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Safety Officer within construction and civil works projects
• Strong knowledge of HSE standards, workplace safety regulations, and compliance procedures
• Ability to independently manage site safety operations and inspections
• Good communication, reporting, and documentation skills
• Familiarity with safety audits, incident investigations, and risk management processes
• Immediate availability will be considered an advantage
• Candidates must possess a valid own-sponsored visa
