Description:
Detech Contracting is seeking an experienced Chief Surveyor to lead surveying operations for infrastructure projects in Dubai. This role is best suited for professionals with extensive hands-on experience in NDM / NDRC works who can oversee survey activities while ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout project execution.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing survey teams, supervising underground crossing surveys, reviewing survey data, and coordinating with engineers, consultants, and site teams. Candidates with direct NDM / NDRC experience and a strong background in UAE infrastructure projects are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead surveying activities for NDM / NDRC infrastructure projects.
• Perform setting out, alignment, level control, and survey verification for underground crossings.
• Review survey data, coordinates, profiles, and as-built records.
• Operate and oversee the use of total stations, digital levels, and surveying software.
• Interpret approved engineering drawings and resolve survey discrepancies.
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and construction site teams.
• Supervise survey personnel and ensure surveying work meets project standards.
Requirements:
• Proven hands-on experience in NDM / NDRC surveying works is mandatory.
• Previous experience leading survey teams as a Chief Surveyor.
• Strong expertise in setting out, alignment, level control, and underground crossing surveys.
• Experience reviewing survey data, profiles, coordinates, and as-built documentation.
• Proficiency in total stations, digital levels, and surveying software.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and coordinate effectively with project stakeholders.
