Description:
Oilplus DMCC is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to become part of its growing team in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who have a solid accounting background and are eager to contribute to the company’s day-to-day financial operations.
The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with payroll and taxation activities, and coordinating with banks, suppliers, customers, and government authorities. Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accounting records and perform routine bookkeeping activities.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and assist in monitoring cash flow.
• Process sales orders and purchase orders accurately.
• Follow up with customers regarding outstanding payments.
• Provide support for payroll processing and related documentation.
• Assist with VAT, taxation, and budgeting activities.
• Manage inventory records and accounting vouchers.
• Handle administrative and office support tasks as required.
• Coordinate with banks, customers, suppliers, and relevant government authorities.
Requirements:
• 1–2 years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Tally and Microsoft Excel.
• Good understanding of taxation and budgeting principles.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Accounting and bookkeeping procedures.
• Financial reporting and reconciliation.
• Tally ERP and Microsoft Excel.
