Description:
IFPS UAE is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented General Accountant to join its growing team in Umm Al Quwain. This position is ideal for candidates with solid accounting experience who can efficiently manage financial operations while ensuring compliance with UAE accounting and tax regulations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, handling payroll, managing accounts payable and receivable, and supporting budgeting and audit activities. Applicants with UAE accounting experience and strong knowledge of QuickBooks and VAT regulations are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records and post accounting transactions.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and perform account reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Process payroll and monitor employee-related payments.
• Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE regulations.
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain cash flow records.
• Assist with budgeting, financial analysis, and audit activities.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial matters.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks.
• Good understanding of UAE VAT regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
