Description:
Speed Auto Systems is seeking a detail-oriented General Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with practical accounting experience who are confident in managing daily financial operations while ensuring compliance with UAE accounting regulations.
The selected candidate will oversee routine accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, assist with VAT and Corporate Tax requirements, and support monthly financial reporting. Applicants currently residing in Dubai or elsewhere in the UAE are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and financial records.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payments, and other accounting documentation.
• Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly closing activities and financial reporting.
• Support UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance requirements.
• Maintain organized and accurate accounting records.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments.
• Assist with audits and other finance-related functions.
Requirements:
• 1–2+ years of accounting experience.
• UAE accounting experience is preferred.
• Good understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.
• Familiarity with UAE Corporate Tax requirements is an advantage.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using accounting software or ERP systems.
• Strong English communication skills.
• B.Com, M.Com, ACCA, CMA, or an equivalent accounting qualification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Bookkeeping and accounting principles
• UAE VAT regulations
• UAE Corporate Tax requirements
• Microsoft Excel and ERP/Accounting software
