Description:
A leading organization in Sharjah is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join its finance team. This role is ideal for a professional with strong UAE accounting experience who is confident in handling financial reporting, VAT compliance, and day-to-day accounting operations in a structured business environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing core accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting compliance with UAE financial regulations. This position requires strong analytical abilities and hands-on experience in managing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and financial reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations
• Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and records
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
• Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with UAE regulations
• Maintain accurate documentation of all financial transactions
• Support management with financial analysis and reporting
• Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and accounting standards
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
• 2–5 years of accounting experience (UAE experience mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles
• Good understanding of UAE VAT regulations
• Experience with Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
• Hands-on experience in:
• Financial reporting and accounting systems
• Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• VAT compliance and regulatory reporting
• ERP / accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, etc.)
• Month-end closing and financial analysis
