We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Hostess to lead our team at a prestigious restaurant located in Downtown Dubai. As the Head Hostess, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and exceptional dining experience for our guests. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your leadership abilities and contribute to the success of a renowned establishment in one of Dubai’s most vibrant areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism.
  • Manage and oversee the host/hostess team, ensuring smooth operations during service hours.
  • Coordinate table reservations, seating arrangements, and waitlist management.
  • Maintain a well-organized and efficient reservation system.
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure timely and accurate service.
  • Provide guests with menus, answer inquiries, and make recommendations.
  • Handle guest concerns, complaints, and special requests with tact and prompt resolution.
  • Maintain a clean and organized host/hostess station and dining area.
  • Train and mentor new host/hostess team members.
  • Collaborate with the management team to enhance guest satisfaction and service standards.
  • Assist in managing guest flow and optimizing table turnover.
  • Monitor and maintain guest waiting areas to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction.
  • Uphold the restaurant’s policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Hostess or in a similar customer service role within a high-end restaurant.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
  • Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in reservation management software and POS systems.
  • Knowledge of dining etiquette and restaurant operations.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
