Government Relations Specialist (GR)

We are seeking for position Government Relations Specialist with government and public institutions as banks.

Dubai. JLT.

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with government entities in the UAE. They will play a crucial role in gathering timely and relevant information, facilitating effective communication, and ensuring compliance with government and other institution regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and nurture direct personal contacts with individuals working in government and public institution organizations as the banks in the UAE.
  • Collect and administer information from government websites and engage with support services to obtain accurate details.
  • Verify and clarify conflicting information by visiting organizations in person, if necessary.
  • Document official responses and maintain a comprehensive contact database.
  • Collaborate with Content managers to address inquiries and gather specific information regarding government services, fees, procedures, and regulatory changes.
  • Stay updated on the local regulatory environment and communicate any changes or updates to the appropriate teams.
  • Act as a liaison between company and entities, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance government relations strategies to optimize communication and foster productive partnerships.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in Arabic and English.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Proven experience and knowledge of the UAE government landscape, including ministries, departments, and regulatory bodies.
  • A minimum of 2 years of continuous residency in the UAE.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to effectively engage with government officials and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex procedures and interpret government regulations.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using technology and digital tools for research, communication, and data management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
