Hiring Estimator – Joinery & Fit-Out Projects

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for joinery and fit-out projects.
• Review project plans and specifications to determine the materials, labor, and time requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and procurement teams to finalize cost estimates.
• Evaluate subcontractor bids and negotiate terms to ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Track and monitor costs throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring budget adherence.
• Conduct market research to ensure accurate cost forecasting based on industry trends.
• Provide accurate and timely quotes for materials, labor, and other project expenses.
• Assist with the preparation of tender documents and proposals.
• Review and assess potential risks related to project costs and timelines.
• Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and clients to clarify project requirements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the joinery or fit-out industry.
• Strong knowledge of joinery and interior fit-out materials, methods, and costs.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in cost management.
• Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with the UAE market and regulations regarding pricing and materials.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an estimator, preferably in joinery or fit-out projects.
• Certification in Estimating (e.g., RICS) is a plus.
• Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
