Description:
Hawk Freight Services is seeking an experienced and motivated Sea Freight Operations Executive to join its team based in DAFZA, Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a strong background in freight forwarding who can efficiently manage daily sea freight operations while ensuring smooth shipment coordination.
The successful candidate will oversee import and export sea freight activities, work closely with shipping lines, overseas agents, customers, transport providers, and customs teams, and ensure shipments are processed accurately and delivered on time. Candidates with UAE freight forwarding experience and immediate availability will have an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end sea freight operations for both import and export shipments.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, overseas agents, customers, transporters, and customs teams.
• Prepare and manage shipment documentation, including bookings, Bills of Lading (BLs), invoices, and delivery orders.
• Monitor shipment progress and provide customers with timely updates.
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure efficient cargo movement.
• Resolve operational issues while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and ensure compliance with company procedures.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
• Strong understanding of sea freight operations and shipping documentation.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple shipments simultaneously.
• UAE freight forwarding industry experience will be an advantage.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.
