Description:
ASGC Group is currently seeking an experienced Architectural Draftsman (Civil) to join its team in Abu Dhabi. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with extensive experience in high-rise building projects who possess strong technical drafting skills and are proficient in preparing construction documentation.
The selected candidate will be responsible for producing accurate architectural drawings, coordinating with multiple engineering disciplines, and ensuring all project documentation complies with UAE standards and project specifications. Candidates who are immediately available and have experience working with a UAE main contractor will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare accurate architectural shop drawings, detailed drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
• Review design drawings to identify discrepancies before project execution.
• Coordinate architectural drawings with structural and civil disciplines.
• Incorporate consultant comments and site modifications into project drawings.
• Maintain drawing registers and ensure proper revision control.
• Provide technical drawing support and clarification to the site team.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, UAE standards, and authority requirements.
Requirements:
• Diploma or relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Drafting.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience.
• Proven experience working on high-rise building projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong knowledge of architectural detailing and construction drawings.
• Experience working with a UAE main contractor is preferred.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Candidates who are immediately available will be preferred.
