Location: Abu Dhabi and Dubai
Job Overview:
We seek a highly analytical and experienced data analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience working in the banking or fintech sector, with a proven track record of collecting, analysing and interpreting large and complex financial data sets. The data analyst will develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large and complex financial data sets
- Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to support business decision-making
- Identify trends and patterns in data to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions
- Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualisation:
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field
- Three to five years of experience in banking and fintech data analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large and complex data sets
- Highly proficiency in SQL and very experienced with data visualisation such as Tableau or Power BI or Angular
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment in a client facing role
- Certified Alteryx Designer developer
