Description:

A reputable private international school in Dubai is currently seeking a dedicated, innovative and passionate individual to fulfill the role of Assistant Vice-Principal of Middle and High School.

Responsibilities will include:

• Providing positive academic leadership by leading learning, managing and developing the school to ensure it achieves the highest possible standards of excellent and continuing growth.
• Delivering against the professional development needs of 70 plus educational and teaching staff
• Leading the delivery of the school improvement plan,
• Reviewing, developing and implementing key school educational policies,
• Implementing key data and tracking progress
• Creating benchmarks for pupils and teachers and tracking progress towards those goals
• Responding immediately to concerns from parents and school management team
• Ensure smooth running of the section by coordinating a variety of interests, programs, timelines, facilities usage and agendas.
• Administer and facilitate internal and external examinations.

To be considered for this role, applicants should have the following:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Master’s Degree preferable
• Recognized Teaching degree/ diploma/ certificate;
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in a UAE school, of which two (2) years should be in leadership role;
• Experience in an American curriculum school preferred.
