Stripe is currently seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Compensation Analyst to join its People team in the United States. In this role, you will support compensation program managers and partners by delivering data-driven insights, maintaining compensation processes, and contributing to the design of scalable global compensation structures.
The position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Finance, People Analytics, Talent Development, and Equity Management to ensure compensation programs remain competitive, accurate, and aligned with company growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed compensation analysis and modeling to support compensation strategy and decision-making
• Assist in annual pay range benchmarking and compensation review cycles
• Support compensation planning programs including merit, bonus, and equity processes
• Maintain and update compensation datasets in HRIS systems such as Workday
• Develop dashboards, tools, and reporting templates to support data-driven decisions
• Collaborate with Finance and People teams to ensure accurate compensation reporting
• Analyze complex datasets and translate findings into actionable business insights
• Support research and development of new compensation policies and frameworks
• Ensure data integrity through periodic audits and system checks
• Work with external vendors and compensation survey data providers
• Contribute to improving efficiency through automation and tool development
Candidate Requirements:
• 3–5+ years of experience in compensation, total rewards, or HR analytics
• Strong knowledge of global compensation programs in high-growth tech environments
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills including financial modeling and data analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to stakeholders and leadership
• Experience working with compensation benchmarking data and methodologies
• Familiarity with equity compensation programs is preferred
• Experience with Workday, Tableau, or HR analytics tools is a plus
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, or similar tools is a bonus
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments
