Description:

World Wide Technology (WWT) is currently hiring a ServiceNow Developer to join its Internal IT SC&E Operations team in the United States. WWT is a global technology solutions leader focused on driving digital transformation, innovation, and enterprise-scale technology deployment. This role offers an opportunity to work within a highly collaborative and advanced technical environment supporting large-scale internal systems and service platforms.

The selected candidate will contribute to the design, development, configuration, and optimization of the ServiceNow platform while working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient and scalable solutions. The role also involves supporting integration initiatives, platform enhancements, and continuous improvement of internal IT services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, configure, and implement ServiceNow solutions including integrations and platform enhancements

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions

• Participate in architecture planning, system design, and strategic IT initiatives to improve operational efficiency

• Develop and maintain ServiceNow workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, and access controls

• Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using APIs and web services such as REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and JDBC

• Support end-to-end testing including unit testing, regression testing, and functional validation

• Participate in platform upgrades, patch deployments, and system enhancements

• Provide production support and troubleshoot complex technical issues

• Maintain technical documentation and configuration records

• Mentor junior developers and collaborate with onsite/offshore teams to ensure best practices

• Work within Agile, Scrum, and Lean environments to deliver iterative solutions

Candidate Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development

• Strong experience with ITSM, PPM, FSM, CSM, or App Engine preferred

• Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting including business rules, UI policies, client scripts, ACLs, and workflows

• Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems and APIs

• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies

• Experience with Service Catalog development and workflow configuration

• Familiarity with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) is preferred

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment

• Must be authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship available)
