Description:

Crowne Plaza Hotel Abu Dhabi is currently recruiting an Assistant Banquet Manager.

The preferred candidate must be in UAE.

YOU’RE DAY TO DAY

  • To ensure that all standards set for food preparation, quality and quantity are met monitored in cooperation with the Executive Chef in order to provide & increase service standard.
  • To ensure a close relationship between the Sales Team and banqueting staff in order to increase banquet sales & meet all promises made to the guests.
  • To ensure that both company standards and local requirements with regards to Hygiene and cleanliness in all areas of the department and that safe and hygiene working practices are fully implemented throughout the area of Banquet Department.
  • To assure that all Conference Network standards are fully implemented and followed in order to guarantee that all promises made by Crowne Plaza Hotels are achieved.
  • To ensure full adherence to Company policies and procedures and operating legalities.
  • To inspect the banquet room & outside catering prior to and during the function and assure that guests specifications are met.
  • To be available during all banquet functions to meet the organizer and to recognize & meet VIP and regular guests when walking into functions.
  • Maintain a close working relationship with and ensure proper communication between the other related departments at all times concerning all Banquet & outside catering functions.
  • To ensure that all transactions and all accounting procedures are followed at all times by the subordinates.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Hospitality/Catering Management/Event Management
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a banquet service Asst. Manager in a 4/5 star hotel.
  • Good working knowledge & experience of UAE market knowledge
  • Good working knowledge of C&B concept design
  • Very good communication and organization skills.
  • A dynamic personality, with the ability to work in a fast pace and demanding environment
