Job Description:
Are you a skilled Arabic legal translator looking for an opportunity to apply your expertise in a dynamic and professional environment? Join our team at Glimpse Legal Translation as an Arabic Legal Translator and play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and effective communication of legal documents and materials.
Responsibilities:
- Translate legal documents, contracts, agreements, and other legal materials from English (or other languages) to Arabic and vice versa.
- Ensure accurate and culturally appropriate translations while maintaining the legal terminology’s integrity.
- Collaborate with legal teams, attorneys, and other professionals to provide linguistic support in legal proceedings, meetings, and client interactions.
- Conduct research to ensure proper understanding of complex legal terms and concepts.
- Proofread and edit translated materials to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive legal information.
- Assist in developing and maintaining a comprehensive legal terminology database.
- Keep up to date with changes in legal terminology and developments in the legal field.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken, with a strong command of legal terminology in both languages.
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a legal translator.
- Professional certification or membership in translation associations is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
- Familiarity with legal procedures, regulations, and terminology.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using translation software and tools is preferred.
