HTP Tech is looking for a Junior Accountant to join its Finance & Accounts department in Dubai. The role is suitable for candidates who are interested in building their career in accounting and gaining practical experience in financial operations.
The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of accounting principles, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records. This position offers hands-on exposure to accounting processes, reporting, compliance activities, and guidance from experienced finance professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with maintaining accounting records and financial documentation.
• Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
• Enter financial data and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts.
• Organize invoices, receipts, and supporting financial documents.
• Assist with monthly financial reports, audits, and compliance activities.
• Support daily finance operations and reporting processes.
Requirements:
• Pursuing or recently completed a Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Familiarity with Zoho Books or other ERP/accounting systems is preferred.
