Description:
Dubai Marine Beach Resort & Spa is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its team and manage accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance activities.
The ideal candidate will have UAE accounting experience with strong knowledge of VAT regulations, financial analysis, and project-based accounting. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, supporting budgeting processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and UAE financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger activities.
• Handle bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, quotation preparation, and maintenance of financial records.
• Manage project accounting activities, including cost tracking, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Monitor project expenses and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure accurate reconciliation of bank statements and company accounts.
• Support UAE VAT compliance and assist with VAT filing processes.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
• Prepare financial reports and assist management with financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of UAE accounting experience.
• Experience working in project-based, contracting, or service-providing companies.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.
• Proficiency in Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar accounting software.
• Advanced MS Excel skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
• Candidates must be currently available in the UAE.
