Description:
Crowne Plaza Hotel Abu Dhabi is currently recruiting an AC/Kitchen Technician.
The preferred candidate must be in UAE.
You’re Day To Day:
- To implement and adhere to all Crowne Plaza policies, standards and procedure for :
- Electrical Control, switch gear breakers etc.
- All refrigerated equipment.
- All kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, griddles, refrigeration equipment.
- Utility conservation
- Effective preventative and routine maintenance
- Energy Conservation.
- Portable Appliance testing
- Effective preventative and routine maintenance
- Safe Handling and disposal of refrigeration gasses.
- To maintain and repair all electrical services in connection with air conditioning / refrigeration.
- To attend to all fire alarm calls immediately.
- To be responsible for using the appropriate safety clothing and equipment.
- For following maintenance instructions laid down by the chief engineer.
- To record accurately all necessary information in the appropriate logs.
- To be familiar with the hotel’s safety, fire and health regulations.
- To carry out any reasonable duties as requested by the chief engineer or any other member of management.
Requirements:
- Minimum three years’ experience is required
- Profound knowledge of how various types of kitchen and refrigeration equipment work
- Strong ability to read and comprehend wiring diagrams, and to follow manuals on operation and installation to successful complete tasks
- Strong ability to apply various types of equipment safely and efficiently, and to maintain and service them
- Exceptional ability to work independently without direct supervision and take responsibility for the repair of assigned equipment
- Strong ability to quickly understand and carry out both written and oral instructions effectively
- Possess refrigerant transition and recovery certification
- Strong knowledge of basic electrical practice, theory, and safety
