Primary Homeroom Teacher (female)
As a primary homeroom teacher in a Reputable International private school, your job responsibilities would include:
Teaching: You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons to your primary class, ensuring that the curriculum and learning objectives are met. You will use a variety of teaching methods, including technology, to engage your students and help them learn.
Classroom Management: You will maintain a positive and safe learning environment in your classroom, ensuring that students are following rules and procedures. You will also manage student behavior and resolve conflicts.
Assessment: You will assess student learning through tests, quizzes, projects, and other assignments. You will provide feedback to students and their parents about their progress and areas of improvement.
Curriculum Development: You will work with the school administration and other teachers to develop and revise the curriculum for your primary class. You will also work with other teachers to coordinate lessons and projects that integrate with other subjects.
Parent Communication: You will communicate regularly with parents through emails, phone calls, conferences, and progress reports. You will update parents on their child’s progress, address their concerns, and work with them to support their child’s learning.
Professional Development: You will participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in teaching and learning. You will also collaborate with other teachers to share ideas and resources.
Other Duties: You may be assigned other duties such as chaperoning field trips, participating in school events, or serving on committees.
