Description:

Snapsheet Inc. is seeking an experienced Virtual Auto Appraiser / Claims Negotiator to join its remote team in the United States. This role is designed for professionals with strong auto physical damage claims experience who can analyze repair estimates, negotiate technical decisions, and manage high-volume claims operations.

The successful candidate will review vehicle damage claims, prepare accurate estimates using industry platforms, communicate with repair facilities, and ensure repair decisions align with carrier guidelines. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a technology-driven remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and negotiate complex auto repair supplements and estimates with body shops while ensuring compliance with carrier guidelines.

• Manage a high-volume claims desk while maintaining accuracy and meeting daily productivity expectations of 10–16 claims.

• Prepare fair and accurate repair estimates using CCC One and other estimating platforms.

• Analyze claim details, identify discrepancies, and escalate questionable damages for further review.

• Maintain detailed documentation of all internal and external communications.

• Adapt to different carrier workflows while maintaining professional written and verbal communication.

• Represent Snapsheet and carrier partners by resolving technical challenges professionally.

Requirements:

• 3–6 years of auto physical damage claims handling experience preferred.

• Minimum 2 years of experience writing auto property damage claims.

• Experience with insurance carrier operations, collision repair environments, or Direct Repair Program (DRP) workflows is highly valued.

• Proven experience managing high-volume claim reviews or field estimates.

• Extensive working knowledge of CCC One estimating platform is required.

• Strong analytical thinking, negotiation skills, and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment using multiple technology platforms.

• Valid state insurance appraisal license required before starting, or willingness to complete required licensing coursework.
