Description:
Sterling Parfums Industries LLC is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to join its growing team in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for procurement professionals with strong international purchasing experience who can efficiently manage sourcing, supplier relationships, and procurement activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will oversee end-to-end international purchasing operations, coordinate with overseas suppliers, and ensure the timely availability of materials required for perfume and cosmetics production. Experience within the fragrance, cosmetics, or personal care manufacturing sector will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the complete international purchasing process, including supplier sourcing, quotation evaluation, negotiations, purchase orders, and delivery follow-ups.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable local and international suppliers.
• Negotiate competitive pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
• Coordinate overseas shipments, freight forwarding, customs clearance, and import documentation.
• Procure perfume ingredients, fragrance oils, cosmetic raw materials, packaging materials, bottles, caps, pumps, cartons, and other production materials.
• Work closely with Finance, Warehouse, Production, and Quality Control teams to ensure timely material availability.
• Monitor supplier performance, purchase costs, delivery timelines, and product quality standards.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and identify opportunities to optimize purchasing costs.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• International purchasing experience is mandatory.
• Experience in the perfumes, cosmetics, fragrance, or personal care manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
• Good knowledge of overseas supplier management, international shipping, import procedures, and customs clearance.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems. SAP experience is an added advantage.
• Experience purchasing fragrance ingredients, cosmetic raw materials, bottles, and packaging components will be highly advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of:
• International procurement and supplier management.
• Import procedures, customs clearance, and freight coordination.
• ERP systems, MS Excel, SAP, and procurement documentation.
