Description:
International Academic School (IAS), Dubai is looking for a qualified and enthusiastic High School Chemistry Teacher to become part of its academic team. This opportunity is ideal for educators who are passionate about science education and committed to inspiring students through engaging and practical learning experiences.
The successful candidate will teach High School Chemistry within an American Curriculum environment, creating interactive and inquiry-based lessons while supporting students’ academic growth. Candidates who are available to join immediately will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging High School Chemistry lessons aligned with the American Curriculum.
• Develop lesson plans, classroom activities, and assessments that encourage scientific inquiry.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support academic achievement.
• Maintain a positive, organized, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Encourage critical thinking, experimentation, and active student participation.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership to promote educational excellence.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• Relevant teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching High School Chemistry, preferably within the American Curriculum.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
