Description:
A real estate company in Dubai is urgently seeking a qualified and experienced General Accountant to join its team. This role is suitable for accounting professionals with hands-on UAE real estate industry experience and strong knowledge of financial operations, reporting, and compliance.
The successful candidate will manage daily accounting activities, support financial reporting, monitor project-related costs, and ensure accurate financial records. Immediate joiners with relevant UAE experience will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records, general ledger entries, and accounting documentation.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and prepare financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliation activities.
• Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with UAE regulations.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors and assist with audit requirements.
• Support financial forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial activities align with project objectives.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience as a General Accountant within the UAE real estate industry.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and tax compliance.
• Experience handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or similar systems.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Immediate availability will be preferred.
