Description:
Robust Trade is seeking a proactive and experienced Government Relations Officer (PRO) to join its team in Dubai. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong understanding of UAE government procedures, regulatory requirements, and corporate documentation processes.
The successful candidate will act as the key liaison between the company and various government authorities, ensuring smooth processing of visas, permits, licenses, and other regulatory matters. The position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain professional relationships with government entities.
Candidates with prior UAE PRO experience and in-depth knowledge of immigration and labor regulations are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and maintain relationships with UAE government departments and regulatory authorities
• Liaise with GDRFA, immigration offices, labor departments, and free zone authorities
• Manage employment visa applications, renewals, transfers, and cancellations
• Handle government-related documentation and ensure timely processing
• Process company licenses, permits, approvals, and regulatory submissions
• Monitor compliance with UAE labor, immigration, and business regulations
• Maintain accurate records of employee documentation and government transactions
• Support the organization in resolving government-related matters efficiently
Requirements:
• Previous UAE experience as a Government Relations Officer (PRO) or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of UAE immigration, labor, and visa regulations
• Experience dealing with government portals, approvals, and documentation processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
• Fluency in Arabic and English is preferred
• UAE Driving License is considered an advantage
• Strong knowledge of:
• UAE immigration and labor laws
• Employment visa processing and government documentation
• Company licensing, permits, and regulatory compliance procedures
• Government authority coordination and relationship management
