Description:
SENTOR ELECTRICAL is currently seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Credit Control Officer to join its Dubai office. This role involves managing credit control processes, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the finance team in ensuring smooth debtor management operations.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in monitoring customer accounts, preparing reports, assisting in credit decisions, and ensuring timely allocation of receipts. This position also requires regular coordination with customers to maintain strong business relationships and support effective credit management practices.
The role offers structured training, exposure to financial systems, and opportunities for professional development within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare weekly and monthly aged debtor reports to support financial tracking and decision-making
• Assist the financial controller in evaluating customer credit limits and trading terms
• Support the preparation and distribution of daily stop lists for internal use
• Ensure timely allocation of customer receipts and maintain updated financial records in the system
• Communicate regularly with customers to strengthen relationships and support payment follow-ups
• Perform ad-hoc reporting and assist with general office and administrative duties as required
• Maintain proper filing systems for financial and company documents
• Handle routine administrative tasks including filing, photocopying, and scanning
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational guidelines
• Support overall credit control and finance department functions as needed
Candidate Requirements:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience working with accounting or financial software will be an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage financial data accurately
• Good communication skills for customer interaction and internal coordination
• Ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently in a structured office environment
• Willingness to undergo on-the-job training and system training as provided by the company
• Ability to work under defined working hours and business requirements
Working Hours:
• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM (or as required)
• Saturday: 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM (on a two-week rota basis or as required)
