Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Education Counselor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding students and parents through their educational journey, including providing students with the right information and advice on study providing expert advice on academic planning, and career goals, and leveraging our digital learning platforms.
Job Responsibilities:
- Student Counseling: Provide personalized academic and career counseling to students, helping them understand their strengths, interests, and educational opportunities.
- including participating in planning activities to build student engagement, providing students with the right information about admissions, processes, and qualification options in a way they can understand easily, and proactively engaging with students and education providers regularly
- Managing and maintaining leads and successful applications, seeking referral opportunities, encouraging and participating in event and lead-generating activity, and database maintenance.
- Educational Planning: Assist students in creating effective study plans and selecting appropriate courses, programs, and learning resources.
- Parental Guidance: Communicate with parents to address their concerns, provide outstanding customer service to students, their families, and education providers throughout the process, provide progress updates, and offer strategies to support their child’s learning journey.
- Resource Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of educational resources, including colleges, universities, scholarships, and extracurricular opportunities.
- Market Research: Stay updated with the latest trends in education, technology, and career development to provide current and relevant advice.
Qualifications:
- Experience in the GCC market.
- Experience in a sales or customer service-driven environment, including achieving individual and team-based targets.
- Good understanding of the education sector and placement of students into VET and universities, including immigration requirements and processes.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and prior experience working as an Education Counsellor or similar role.
