Description:
Nexmarin is seeking an experienced Draftsman to join its marine engineering team in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in ship design and engineering who can produce precise technical drawings for marine projects and statutory requirements.
The successful candidate will support naval architecture and marine engineering projects by preparing detailed structural and statutory drawings. Candidates with strong AutoCAD skills and experience in ship design will be highly valued, while knowledge of Rhino software will be considered an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare accurate technical drawings for vessel design, modification, and marine engineering projects.
• Develop ship structural and statutory drawings in accordance with project specifications.
• Collaborate with naval architects and engineering teams to ensure drawing accuracy and compliance.
• Revise and update technical drawings based on project requirements and engineering feedback.
• Maintain organized drawing documentation and support project deliverables.
Requirements:
• 2–3 years of relevant drafting experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience preparing ship structural drawings.
• Experience creating statutory drawings for marine projects.
• Rhino software proficiency is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate technical documentation.
