Hiring Contracts & Administration Manager – Role Available

We are seeking a qualified Contracts and Administration Manager to join the Summertown Projects Team in Dubai. 

The ideal candidate will be based in the UAE and have a University Degree in Business or similar, with experience in contract administration, contract disputes and a minimum 10 years’ experience, including 3 years in the design and interior fit out industry. They will also require knowledge/experience of JAFZA regulations, UAE laws and local customs and business practices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Initiate, track and monitor project operational activities from the project initiation through the project post-completion handover ensuring on time completion of kick-off meetings, regulatory approvals, drawings approvals, sample approvals, work orders, material requisitions, contractors progress reports and O&M manuals.
  • Approve work orders, material requisitions, drawing requests, sample requests.
  • Prepare/review project contracts critically to safeguard Summertown’s rights and obligations-pre contract.
  • Administer the finalization and signing off of contract documents by all parties.
  • Monitor contract terms, and the commercial and contractual correspondence and administration.
  • Contract Management including extension of time and prolongation applications.
  • Manage activities such as manpower planning, recruitment, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits and employee relations.
  • Annual Maintenance Contract Renewal, and Tenancy Contract Renewals
  • Review and agree on tender programmes considering coordination and procurement tasks and identify any delivery risks.
  • Set goals for Project Coordinators and Planners based on business plans.
  • Coach, mentor and motivate team members.
