Job Opportunity: Commercial and Finance Analyst – UAE

Contribute to MHP Food Trading’s success by executing assigned responsibilities and providing ongoing updates to the line manager. Through financial analysis, strategic planning, and collaboration, aim to optimize performance, drive growth, and support informed decision-making in the dynamic business environment of the UAE.

Position: Commercial and Finance Analyst

Location: UAE

Responsibilities:

Stock:

  • General stock analysis: work with stock in days of sales and highlight SKUs with actions and deadlines weekly. Highlighting the problematic cases.
  • Slow mover report analysis: grouping, and collecting the data from the sales team with actions and deadlines weekly. Highlighting the problematic cases.
  • Stock order: checking of recommended orders by the head-office analyst team by UAE office needs and specific local orders.

Sales:

  • Sales analysis by product group: highlighting the over/underperforming groups by SE/SV/SM weekly.
  • Average SKU analysis by product group: highlighting weekly the over/underperforming groups by SE/SV/SM.
  • ABC analysis by product group: highlighting weekly the over/underperforming groups by SE/SV/SM.
  • Matrix: Assortment matrix performance for MT monthly. Highlighting not performed cases.
  • Promo: Breakdown of regular and promo sales in the MT channel monthly.

Prices:

  • Average price analysis by product group: highlighting weekly the over/underperforming groups by SE/SV/SM.
  • Local price report analysis. Prices collection, research the prices online, recommendation to change the price, determination of trends.
  • Long-term price forecast (1+3).
  • Promo prices in MT. Analysis of ratio promo/deepness of discount on sales or PnL.

Finance:

  • PnL analysis by product groups with highlighting of margin/loss-making items.
  • Work with the PnL simulator from the perspective of the most beneficial combo of item/price/channel/volume.
  • Optimization initiatives.
  • MT profit calculator updated monthly with highlighting of negative cases.
  • MT allocations: simulation of all promo, listing, and other spendings in advance for control of customer to provide all necessary documents.
  • GRV control. Follow-up of GRM to be properly allocated in both MHP and customer.

Presentations:

  • For SV, SM quarterly meeting with the data above in a compact format.
  • For SE monthly meeting with all new and relevant data.
  • For MR quarterly meeting with all new and relevant data.
  • For Head of Sales by request.
