We have an opening for a Category Head Executive with one of our well known perfume manufacturing clients located in Dubai (Jebel Ali).
Overview
Senior cross-functional NPD professional with over 15 years’ experience in product development & innovation with proven track record in delivering complex projects and successes within entrepreneurial and corporate brands within primarily the fragrance industry & secondary body care, hair care, color cosmetics. Must have worked with established international brands in this category.
Requirements:
- Experience in driving strategy and execution of new product development. Responsible for maintaining a healthy new product pipeline to cater to defined market segments based on consumer trends and market research. Lead NPD processes, sourcing, prototyping, initial batch production to sales team/channel partner launch.
- Strong network of decision makers including C-suite at global manufacturers, packaging suppliers, chemists/fragrance suppliers and regulatory authorities.
- Strong global exposure on consumer requirements and product development for different geographies like GCC, Africa, USA, Southeast Asia, UK & Europe etc.
- Academic: BBA, MBA is a plus with Product development background
- Knowledge: Having good experience in manufacturing, supply chain, regulatory and legal functions, efficacy testing, and claims generation/management.
