Daikin Comfort Technologies Manufacturing Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst, Level 1 to join its Sales Planning organization. This remote position is ideal for an analytical and detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with financial data, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analysis.
The successful candidate will support financial planning activities by preparing budgets, forecasts, financial reports, and performance analyses while collaborating with cross-functional teams and leadership. Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare operational budgets in collaboration with the Director of Finance and leadership teams.
• Review budget presentations submitted by business units to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Coordinate with operational leaders to establish budgets, revise forecasts, and explain financial results.
• Prepare quarterly budget revisions and weekly company forecasts.
• Develop monthly financial reporting packages for management review.
• Analyze business performance, income, expenses, earnings, balance sheets, and cash flow metrics.
• Support annual budgeting and long-range financial planning processes.
• Perform budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial scoreboards.
• Conduct data extraction, ad-hoc reporting, and project-based financial analysis.
• Provide financial recommendations based on historical trends and future projections.
• Perform additional finance-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• 0–2 years of experience in finance.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Highly analytical with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities.
• Experience with general ledger accounting and monthly closing processes.
• Ability to review account reconciliations and perform account analysis.
• Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
