Hiring Business Development Director / Sr. Manager   

Job Summary: Our Company is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager/Sr. Manager/Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining business relationships with new and existing clients to drive revenue growth and expand our market share. This role requires a deep understanding of the media landscape and a proven track record of driving sales. This is a senior position (Director / Sr. Manager).

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities (solutions) to drive revenue growth 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and services
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities for growth 
  • Collaborate with marketing, content, and product teams to develop and execute sales strategies and campaigns 
  • Create proposals and presentations to pitch products and services to prospective clients 
  • Attend industry events and conferences to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and network with potential clients 
  • Manage the sales pipeline and forecast sales activity accurately 
  • Negotiate and close deals to achieve sales targets 
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure client needs are met and expectations are exceeded 
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity and customer interactions in the CRM system

Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in a media company 
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth 
  • Strong understanding of the media landscape and the ability to stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner 
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills 
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities 
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales forecasting 
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
