The International Cricket Council (‘ICC’) is the global governing body for the sport, which administers all

Aspects of international cricket.

We are currently looking for an Administration Officer within Cricket Operations and Development team,

Based at our headquarters in Dubai, UAE. The role will report to the ICC’s General Manager – Cricket operations.

Principal Accountabilities

Responsibilities of the Administration Officer include but are not limited to the following:

  • Administration support to the ICC’s General Manager Cricket Operations and General Manger –Global Development.
  • Provide administrative support to the General Manager – Development and the General Manager –Cricket.
  • Manage logistics, budgets, and paper distribution for several of ICC’s conferences, board meetings and committee meetings.
  • Coordinate pre-event logistics and communication with Members participating in events such as
  • the ICC Women’s Championship, Men’s and Women’s World Cup Qualification Tournaments and the ICC Pathway Events.
  • Implement the ICC player eligibility database and maintain a contact database of ICC’s Members.
  • Manage a number of specific projects including overseeing the ICC Hall of Fame voting processes,the Annual Development Survey, and roll out of the Development Program Annual Awards.
  • Assisting the Cricket Operations and Match Officials departments with logistics support and coordination of match reporting documents.
  • Support departmental secretarial tasks as required.

Knowledge, Skills, Attitude and Experience

  • Minimum five years of work experience in administrative or similar roles.
  • Preferred degree level education in a relevant discipline.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • A team player that is also self-motivated and can work independently.
  • Experience working with people from different cultural backgrounds and a capacity to
  • Communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
  • A passion for sport and experience of administration in a sporting or similar body.
  • Computer literate including strong Word, Outlook, Excel, Database and PowerPoint skills.
