Description
We are offering an opportunity for an AR/Collections Specialist in the KC Metro area but the role is fully remote. The role is integral to our team, focusing on the processing of customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. The selected candidate will also monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. QuickBooks experience is a must have.
Responsibilities
- Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain and update customer credit records as required
- Resolve customer inquiries regarding their accounts in a timely manner
- Monitor customer accounts for irregularities or discrepancies
- Utilize software such as Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks for account management
- Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accuracy in records
- Manage billing processes, ensuring customers are billed correctly and on time
- Perform cash applications as part of the accounts receivable process
- Participate in cash collections, following up with customers as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation in the accounts department.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required.
- Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary.
- Applicants must have knowledge of Billing procedures.
- Familiarity with Cash Applications is beneficial.
- Experience in Cash Collections is expected.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks is beneficial.
