Description:

Aon is seeking a Customer Service Specialist II to support its Private Flood Insurance Program business. This remote role is ideal for candidates with customer service, administrative, or insurance experience who can manage policy processing, customer communication, and documentation activities with accuracy and professionalism.

The successful candidate will handle inbound customer calls, process private flood insurance documents, and coordinate with agents, internal teams, and carrier partners to ensure transactions are completed according to carrier agreements, surplus lines requirements, and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle inbound calls and provide professional customer support for private flood insurance products.

• Underwrite and process insurance documents according to carrier agreements, regulations, and internal procedures.

• Collaborate with agents, departments, and carrier partners through phone, email, and fax communication.

• Review and verify legal, closing, replacement cost documents, flood maps, and elevation data.

• Communicate technical insurance information clearly to agents and customers.

• Answer questions related to private flood insurance products and policy requirements.

• Process flood insurance policies using web-based applications.

• Manage policy details including elevation certifications, zone determinations, refunds, commissions, discounts, policy rules, and disaster assistance programs.

• Maintain accuracy, productivity, and compliance with established quality standards.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Minimum 1 year of office, administrative, or customer service experience.

• Customer service experience involving telephone communication is highly beneficial.

• Prior insurance industry experience is preferred.

• Typing speed of 40 WPM or higher.

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Ability to accurately enter alphanumeric information with speed and precision.

• Proficiency with basic office equipment and computer applications.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining productivity.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Must be available to work 8:00 AM–5:00 PM MDT or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM MDT.
