Pax8 is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist III to support and enhance its global payroll operations. In this role, you will take ownership of regional payroll activities, collaborate with internal teams and external providers, and contribute to process improvements that support a growing international workforce. Key Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end payroll processing across multiple countries
• Review, validate, and reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy
• Coordinate with internal departments and external payroll providers
• Analyze payroll reports and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Maintain payroll calendars and ensure all deadlines are met
• Support payroll audits and compliance activities
• Identify payroll risks and recommend corrective actions
• Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements
• Maintain accurate payroll documentation and operational records
Requirements:
• Proven experience managing payroll operations across multiple countries
• Strong understanding of payroll legislation, taxation, and compliance requirements
• Experience working with third-party payroll service providers
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting and data analysis
• Experience with payroll systems such as Workday or similar platforms
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple payroll cycles and deadlines simultaneously
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Strong knowledge of:
