Hiring Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mid Level Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IFRS accounting standards, UAE VAT, and Corporate Tax regulations. This role involves managing financial records, ensuring compliance with local tax laws, and providing accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, maintain, and analyse financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, including preparing and filing VAT returns.
• Assist with Corporate Tax filings and ensure adherence to Federal tax laws.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Provide financial analysis and support for decision-making.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and others as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (CA, ACCA, or equivalent) is a plus.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
• Solid understanding of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax laws.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
