Hiring Accountant

Location -DIFC, Dubai

Salary – AED 8,000/-

Contract – Long Term.

Key Objectives:

• Expense control function – budget checking and tracking, initiating and monitoring approval process
• Accounting – Maintaining General Ledgers trackers, preparing hashtag#JournalVouchers,
• Control function – hashtag#Nostro recon, reviewing and circulating Nostro statements etc.
• Assisting in VAT related work – invoicing, maintain hashtag#VAT records, Updating VAT return
• Reporting – Management Information Systems, Regulatory reporting assistance
• Others – Operational assistance, any other appropriate work given by Head of Support Services

Principal Responsibilities:

• Checking expense approval requests , updating budgets, checking account headings, updating payment register (ongoing – daily)
• Uploading expense requests in P2P
• Preparing journal vouchers
• Preparing Nostro bank reconciliations (Daily) and circulating the Nostro statements
• Generating VAT invoices (weekly)
• Maintaining VAT records for input tax, reverse charge and output tax (Daily)
• Updation of VAT system for generation of return (Daily and quarterly)
• Preparation of Daily MIS
• Assisting in quarterly Prudential return preparation on specific sheets (such as inward remittance sheets, outward remittance sheets, funding concentration, funding schedule)
• Assisting in Operational matters in the absence of the Operations officer
• Any other appropriate work given by the Head of Support Services
