Urban Hive is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its team in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a solid accounting background in the logistics, shipping, and import & export industry who are looking to contribute to a dynamic business environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, handling accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial records, and ensuring compliance with UAE accounting standards and VAT regulations. Key Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Process invoices, payments, and collections efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and accounting practices.
• Prepare financial reports and support daily accounting operations.
• Maintain accurate accounting documentation and assist with financial analysis.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3–4 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Experience in Logistics, Shipping, or Import & Export is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Experience with bank reconciliation and general accounting.
• Knowledge of invoicing, payments, and collections.
• Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations and accounting practices.
• Good communication and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of:
