Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-oriented Smart Home Technician to join our team in Dubai. This role involves the professional installation and maintenance of smart home and IT systems. You will ensure the highest standards of quality, precision, and customer satisfaction while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installations of Wi-Fi distribution systems, cabling, security cameras, server racks, and Control4 solutions with precision and professionalism.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety on-site throughout the project.
- Test and verify functionality of installed systems, resolving any issues or inconsistencies.
- Assist with pre-installation preparations, including reading and interpreting technical documentation.
- Keep the Technical Team Lead and Project Manager informed about progress and challenges.
- Adhere to safety protocols and quality assurance standards at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service and represent the company in a professional manner.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in smart home installations, IT systems, or similar roles.
- Hands-on experience with cabling, Wi-Fi networks, security cameras, and rack setups, and power tools.
- Familiarity with Control4 or similar smart home systems (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to flawless installations.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Excellent communication skills, fluent spoken English, and a professional attitude.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Physical fitness to manage job demands, including lifting and moving equipment when necessary.
