Description:
Force 10 is seeking an experienced HSE Lead to oversee and strengthen Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards across multiple construction projects in Abu Dhabi. This leadership role is ideal for a highly experienced HSE professional with extensive knowledge of UAE construction safety regulations and best practices.
The successful candidate will lead the implementation of HSE management systems, ensure compliance with UAE and Abu Dhabi safety regulations, conduct risk assessments, and promote a proactive safety culture across project sites. The role also requires close collaboration with project teams, subcontractors, and key stakeholders to maintain the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and management systems across construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with UAE HSE legislation and Abu Dhabi safety regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments, HIRA, and method statement reviews.
• Lead, mentor, and support site HSE teams.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Subcontractors to ensure safe work practices.
• Lead incident investigations and perform root cause analysis.
• Prepare HSE reports, audits, inspections, statistics, and compliance documentation.
• Promote a strong safety culture through training sessions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.
• Monitor project compliance and recommend continuous safety improvements.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
• 12–15 years of UAE experience in construction safety.
• Valid experience certificate is required.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) is mandatory.
• Level 6 or Level 7 Health & Safety qualification is preferred.
• ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of construction HSE standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
