Description:
A leading organization in Dubai is urgently seeking an experienced HSE Officer with a strong background in transport and logistics operations, preferably within oil and gas projects. The role is critical in ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across all operational activities while promoting a strong safety culture within the organization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring QHSE management systems, conducting risk assessments, ensuring regulatory compliance, and overseeing safety inspections across equipment and operations. This role also involves incident investigation, preparation of safety documentation, and coordination with clients and third-party inspection agencies. Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s QHSE Management System in line with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and applicable legal requirements.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, RTA requirements, Civil Defence standards, and client HSE policies.
• Conduct regular inspections of vehicles, equipment, PPE, and operational sites to ensure safety compliance.
• Monitor drivers, supervisors, and operational staff to ensure adherence to approved HSE procedures.
• Perform Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessments (RA), and hazard identification for lifting and operational activities.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and non-conformities, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Coordinate third-party inspections (TPI) and certification of lifting and safety equipment.
• Prepare HSE plans, emergency response procedures, and client-required safety documentation.
• Support tender submissions by preparing HSE compliance reports and technical safety documentation.
Requirements:
• NEBOSH / IOSH certification is mandatory.
• Experience in transport, logistics, or oil & gas operations is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessments, audits, and compliance standards.
• Familiarity with UAE Law, RTA regulations, Civil Defence requirements, and client HSE standards.
• Ability to conduct inspections of lifting equipment, PPE, and transport assets.
• Experience in preparing safety documentation, risk assessments, and emergency response plans.
• Immediate or short-notice availability preferred.
