Hiring Senior Estimator

  • Minimum 10 Years -U.A.E. Experience
  • Obtain a detailed design and specification from the Designers or Consultants if it is not available from the tender documents received.
  • Attend meetings with the Client, Consultant or Main Contractor for technical reviews, evaluations, and clarifications.
  • Assist in the analysis of tender documents and provide interpretations of the contract documents (drawings with specifications) and formulate RFI if necessary.
  • Develop cost estimate base from detailed tender documents (drawings, BOQ, and specification) from the client or consultant.
  • Quantity take-off and detailed estimation for each item listed in the BOQ using Plan Swift Application.
  • Prepares detailed material breakdown analysis using updated current market prices using Excel sheet Application with detailed formatting.
  • Ensure that all fire rating of doors follows Dubai Civil Defense, BM Trada and Global Assessment Specifications, Qualifications, and Requirements.
  • Establish the cost expectation of the project and prepares a bill of quantities for tender submissions to the client.
  • Prepares technical specification proposal for alternatives and recommendations for clients’ review and acceptance and make necessary modification for value engineering requests.
  • Prepares master log list for tender inquiries to ensure all quotations will be submitted on or before deadlines.
  • Do regular follow-ups for tender inquiries.
  • Update the price master list to ensure the availability and the current prices of materials in the market.
  • Make necessary layout sketches from the information received using AutoCAD Application.
  • Prepare Payment Certificate / Invoice against work done at site.
  • Review the draft sub-contract agreement received from the client and ensures that all technical issues were reflected and highlighted.
  • Document all necessary requirements.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by getting additional related courses.
