Description:
An organization based in Abu Dhabi is urgently seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join its senior management team. This role is suited for a highly accomplished finance professional who can lead the financial function, provide strategic guidance, and ensure the delivery of accurate financial reporting while supporting business growth and operational excellence.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, treasury management, cash flow monitoring, performance reporting, and accounting operations. The role requires strong leadership capabilities, commercial awareness, and the ability to provide valuable financial insights that support executive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
• Act as a key member of the senior management team and contribute to strategic business decisions
• Prepare, consolidate, and present weekly and monthly financial statements and management reports
• Review, analyze, and interpret financial information to support executive decision-making
• Prepare monthly management accounts, including Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets
• Reconcile balance sheet schedules and ensure financial accuracy
• Analyze project performance against budgets and key performance indicators
• Provide periodic KPI reports to management and the board to measure operational and financial performance
• Develop financial budgets and support long-term business planning initiatives
• Participate in the development of financial strategies, policies, objectives, and procedures
• Support capital expenditure planning and investment justification analysis
• Manage treasury operations, funding requirements, and banking relationships
• Assist in improving costing systems, financial controls, and operational procedures
• Oversee cash flow management and reporting to ensure financial stability
• Ensure the finance department supports operational business units effectively
• Manage all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, credit control, and team workflow
Requirements:
• 10–15 years of experience in accounting and financial management roles
• Proven experience in senior finance positions with people management responsibilities
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or a related field
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent preferred
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and corporate finance
• Ability to lead finance teams and manage multiple financial functions
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
