Join our dynamic team and contribute to creating a more sustainable future.Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Energy Modeller with expertise in Integrated Environmental Solutions (IES) software to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in conducting advanced energy modeling and analysis for various building projects, ensuring optimal energy performance and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed energy modeling and simulations using IES software for new and existing building projects.Analyze building energy performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend energy-efficient design strategies.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate energy modeling results into project designs.
  • Prepare comprehensive energy reports, documentation, and presentations for clients and project teams.
  • Stay current with industry trends, standards, and regulations related to energy modeling and sustainable building practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior energy modellers and support their professional development.
  • Participate in project meetings, client consultations, and design reviews to present energy modeling findings and recommendations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of company-wide energy modeling best practices and protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in energy modeling, with a strong focus on using IES software.
  • In-depth knowledge of building energy systems, HVAC design, and sustainable building practices.
  • Proficiency in IES Virtual Environment (VE) software, including dynamic thermal simulation, daylight analysis, and CFD modeling.
  • Experience with other energy modeling tools (e.g., EnergyPlus, eQUEST) is a plus.Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data and simulation results.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional certifications such as LEED AP, BEMP, or CEM are highly desirable.
