Al Zahra Hospital Dubai is hiring for the following position in the Nursing Division:

Registered Nurse – OB-GYN 

• Prefer Nationality: Filipino
• With (DHA) license
• Gender: Female

Responsibilities:

• The obstetrics branch of this field includes pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, labor and delivery and postpartum care. Nurses in this field focus on the health of the mother and unborn baby, providing a range of medical and emotional support services to women. Specific job responsibilities include:
• Educating patients on family planning, fertility, and health-related decisions during pregnancy
• Performing prenatal screenings and exams, including vital signs, urine and blood tests and fatal ultrasounds
• Advising patients on risks and options when facing abnormal pregnancies or pregnancy complications
• Prepping the patient and exam room for labour and delivery
• Assisting obstetricians and midwives during delivery
• Providing care for women in labour through pain management, coaching and ongoing fatal monitoring
• Assessing and monitoring newborn health after delivery, including measuring vital signs and performing routine assessments
• Providing education to new parents on newborn care, including breastfeeding, changing, swaddling, feeding, bathing and nutrition
• Monitoring women’s health after delivery
• Cleaning, measuring, weighing, and administering vaccinations to new-borns

Ideal Profile:

• Must be a Registered Professional Nurse with current license (DHA)
• Experience: 3+ years’ experience

Qualification:

• BS.c In Nursing
• You have at least 3 years’ experience including solid experience in a similar role within Healthcare & Life sciences.
• You are a strong networked & relationship builder
• You are adaptable and thrive in changing environments
• You are a self-starter and demonstrate a high level of resilience
